CAPE HATTERAS VACATION TIPS

The endless miles of fabulous coastline contained in the park has made Cape Hatteras a favorite east coast vacation destination for travelers who eschew the all inclusive vacation package that would have carried them to tourist spots where the main attractions were casinos, fancy restaurants and elbow to elbow tourists competing for position with the beach bums for a spot on the sand.
There are fabulous activities that will fill your Cape Hatteras vacation getaway, but you will find that they are of the more natural variety. Senior citizens who are into fishing or honeymoon couples who want quiet, romantic views and walks on the beach will be pleased with the opportunities for these pastimes. While the more mature groups are involved with sightseeing opportunities, college kids and the younger set can jump into some Cape Hatteras windsurfing, diving.

For the ultimate in natural beauty and romantic solitude, travel to either Ocracoke or Pea Island which are said to be one of the less crowded areas on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore even during the busy tourist season. The great thing about a Cape Hatteras vacation is that even during peak season there are certain times of the evening when you can find yourself alone on the beach. There are many things to see on a Cape Hatteras vacation but the view of the deserted beach at sunset is one of the top rated in my book.
