Cocoa Beach Florida Vacation Pub Crawl
(Cocoa Beach, Florida, Brevard)
We plan our Cocoa Beach vacation pub crawl early so that from the beginning we have a dedicated driver and a cooler of jello shots in the vehicle. The best time is after dark on a Friday or Saturday night and we start at the east end of Minuteman Causeway. (Dead end at the beach).
The first stop is the Beach Shack, a locals bar that has a couple of pool tables, pinball machines and a bar filled with friendly people. They have bands that play blues and rock and roll on the weekends.
Then we relocate across the street to a place called Coconuts that also has bands. Next door on the west side is another bar, also with music.
Continue west on the same side of the street and you'll come to Big Licks Cigar bar which is a small but friendly place with a great bar and a crowd of friendly people. If you like cigars, you should take this opportunity to try the rum soaked ones.
Moving along, we cross the street to Heidi's Jazz bar, an upscale place with awesome German food and the best jazz in the area.
Continue west and you'll find Casablanca where you can go out the back door to the Timid bar, and they also usually have a live band.
At this point, if you have to, ask a local directions to get to Jonathan's which is only a couple of blocks away. Jonathan's place has pool tables, darts, and drinks are made with free squeezed juice.
If you're up for some adult entertainment, the Inner Room is about a block away.
