DISNEY CHRISTMAS VACATION ADVICE
Before I start passing out Disney Christmas vacation advice, I want to back up and give you some Thanksgiving tips for next year. It's true that one of the best times to visit Disneyworld in Orlando is anywhere from the middle of November through the middle of December but unfortunately too many families book their trip for the week of Thanksgiving when their kids are out of school.
The weather is very nice since the usual heat and humidity has diminished but the crowds of people are something to deal with. The park was so crowded that I didn't get to do and see everything that I planned but I reminded myself to relax and go with the flow and this maybe the best Disney vacation advice
that applies to anytime of the year is to relax..but I do have a few Disney Christmas vacation tips that follow that you will want to put in your notes.
One thing for sure is that whatever there is to do will be fabulous, but since it is so hard to get around to everything, here is my best Christmas Disney Vacation advice based on my experiences during our Christmas vacation that we took last year.
- CHECK THE DISNEY CHRISTMAS EVENTS SCHEDULE
Make a list of the TOP things that you want to share with your kids using the current schedule of events and activities to pick your favoritess. Do this before you arrive so that you will have a plan of action.
- GO EARLY!
There are less people in the early days of December
but as more and more schools let out the Christmas holidays, the crowd start to increase. During school holidays, usually the days between Christmas day and New Year' s day the number of people visiting Disney explodes!
- USE THOSE FASTPASSES!
If you arrive at the park early enough, you can score the fastpasses that you will want to use later in the day to help decrease the amount of time that you spend in those long lines for the most popular attractions.
- MAKE RESERVATIONS!
During the week of Christmas, make ADRs or your choices for restaurants will be very limited. This is crucial as it's no fun (read: stressful) to be unable to find a place to eat!
Spending Christmas at Disneyworld has been a dream of mine since I was a kid and it was MAGIC! But one more bit of Disney Christmas vacation advice is that the magic doesn't just happen on its own. Your Disney family vacation
planner has a huge hand in how magical your visit will be.
In my opinion, the Christmas holidays are one of the best times of the year to visit Disney but since so many others know this to be true; therein lies the challenge.
Do your best to organize a plan but if you hit a glitch or the timing goes off the tracks, do your best not to let it get you down. Take a deep breath and remind yourself how lucky you are to be in the most wonderful place on earth and move along to the next item on your list.
