After reading a Las Vegas Rumor hotel review on your travel website, I decided to call ahead and book a room at Rumor to break up long cross-country trip. We like to hit the shows and gamble a little so we knew we would make a stop in Las Vegas but we weren't sure whether to stay in a casino hotel or off the strip.

After reading about the newest hotel in Las Vegas, we booked a reservation at the Rumor Hotel for a single night initially and enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay an additional night.

What we liked was not only that the room was clean and comfortable but that what other hotels call a suite, is a standard size room at Rumor! Plus the hotel is located in a very convenient location right across the street from the Hard Rock with all of the best entertainment and attractions within easy walking distance or a cheap cab ride away. Then when you have enough you can escape the crowds on the strip and relax.

Whoever planned the layout of the hotel was a genius! They made certain that in order to get to your room that you are sure to appreciate the pool area (raved about in every Rumor hotel review that I've read) with raked sand, private lounges, hammocks all surrounded by a beautifully landscaped and manicured lawn.

We usually stay at a hotel in a casino for convenience but I am rethinking that strategy since I found staying at Rumor to be more enjoyable especially since on our last Las Vegas vacation we stayed in a room that smelled like the smoke from the gaming area was being vented directly into our room.

Rumor Hotel reviews are all accurate, but fall short of giving a full description of just how nice this place is! I highly, HIGHLY recommend it!

Tropical Paradise in the Desert
by: Anonymous

Rumor is a tropical paradise in the desert if you ask me. Rumor is a new Las Vegas hotel so it goes without saying that it is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities and extras that you could ever want.

When you arrive the staff treats you like (or better than) a family member and do so throughout your stay.

What I found very pleasing although a bit amazing was the feeling that you are visiting a resort on a tropical island rather than taking a Las Vegas vacation smack dab in the middle of the desert! There is a pool, hot tub, cabanas, daybeds, hammocks, fire pits and comfortable lounging areas in public areas.

And in my king room I was pleased to find an oversized tub as well as a rain shower head. I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in luxury hotels all around the world (for triple the price) and can say I'll be staying at Rumors, the peaceful, relaxing tropical paradise in the desert every time I visit Vegas until another hotel beats them at the hospitality game....yeah, I'm fickle but I'll be happy to let you know when another establishments tops them.
